We’ve lived in several states across the country, but we love being in the trees and close to the ocean here. In the summer we love to spend our weekends crabbing, finding seashells and creatures, and building sandcastles on the shores. One thing you’ll always find in my fridge is good chocolate and I’m always down for a great burger!

Shortly after getting married in 2010, I was diagnosed with PCOS and Hypothyroidism and we struggled for five years to get pregnant. After finally being blessed with our twin girls through IVF I decided to make a change for my own health. I began learning how much our health is impacted by the foods we consume and the habits we form.

By making changes in the foods I put in my body and implementing more movement in my daily life, I was able to significantly reduce my PCOS symptoms, finally lose excess weight, gain energy, sleep better and, I got pregnant naturally with no treatments! A fire in me was lit and I haven’t stopped learning and sharing about nutrition since.

My passions lie in helping people understand how their bodies function and teaching how we can nourish them so that they are working optimally, and we are thriving in our daily lives.
